What We Collect

Information You Provide

• Cold exposure session data — duration, temperature, location tags, and notes you enter — stored locally on your device, never sent to our servers
• Protocol preferences — which protocols you follow and your custom protocol settings — stored locally
• Reminder preferences — notification times and frequency settings — stored locally
• Subscription status — managed by Apple App Store via RevenueCat; we receive only your subscription tier (free or Pro), not payment details

Information Collected Automatically

• Anonymous crash reports — if the app crashes, a sanitized error report may be sent to help us fix bugs; no personal data included
• Anonymous usage analytics — aggregate interaction patterns to improve the app; no personal identifiers attached

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• We do not collect precise GPS location
• We do not require account creation
• We do not collect health or biometric data beyond what you manually enter
• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising

Data Storage

All personal data (sessions, protocols, streaks, preferences) is stored locally on your iPhone using SQLite with encrypted storage via Expo SecureStore. No session data is stored on Verto Studios servers. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

Third-Party Services

No third-party service receives your cold exposure session data, protocol choices, or personal notes.

Push Notifications

ChillLog uses push notifications to deliver session reminders you schedule. You can disable them in the app Settings screen or at the iOS system level. We do not send promotional push notifications without your explicit opt-in.

Your Rights

• Delete your data: Uninstall the app — all local data is removed immediately
• Disable push notifications: App Settings → Notifications, or iOS Settings → Notifications
• Manage subscription: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Children's Privacy

ChillLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. The current version is always available at chilllog.vertostudios.com/privacy.
